My Beloved Stranger

Riku, an aspiring novelist, and Minami, a singer-songwriter, fall in love at university and soon marry. As his literary career takes off, his growing arrogance blinds him to the wife who set aside her own ambitions to support him. After a bitter argument, he wakes one morning in a world turned upside down: he is a lowly publishing assistant, while Minami is a celebrated singer who has never heard of him. Determined to restore the life he lost, he sets out to win back the woman he once took for granted.

My Beloved Stranger is a Japanese drama directed by Takahiro Miki, written by Yuichi Toyone and Keisuke Fukutani, and released in February 2025.
