Lake Placid: The Final Chapter

A nature reserve surrounding Black Lake is protected by an electric fence to contain man-eating crocodiles. When the barrier is left open, a bus carrying high school students accidentally enters the dangerous area. Reba, a survivor of previous crocodile encounters turned hunter, teams up with the local sheriff and other authorities to rescue the children and stop the predators. Meanwhile, poachers attempt to exploit the situation for profit.

This horror and science fiction production was directed by Don Michael Paul. It is the fourth of 15 films he has directed, following Company of Heroes and preceding Jarhead 2: Field of Fire. The film features a cast including Yancy Butler, Robert Englund, Elisabeth Röhm, and Paul Nicholls. Produced by Sony Pictures Home Entertainment, Syfy, and Unified Film Organization, the movie was made with a budget of 5 million USD.

The film received a mixed to negative reception from viewers. It holds a rating of 3.6/10 on IMDb based on 3,900 votes and a slightly higher score of 5.2/10 on TMDB from 215 votes.
