The Trophy Bride

The Trophy Bride is a romantic comedy-drama about a woman named Tú Lạc who pretends to be wealthy and sophisticated to attract a rich heir, Bảo Hoàng. To secure a marriage and a life of luxury, she must overcome the disapproval of his mother, Bà Phượng, who prioritizes social standing. Tú Lạc eventually involves her own family in a complex plot to deceive others and gain entry into the elite upper class.

Directed by Vũ Ngọc Đãng, this 2024 Vietnamese film is the eighth in a series of works that include The Mouse and Sister Sister 2. The movie features a cast including Uyển Ân, Thu Trang, Kiều Minh Tuấn, Samuel An, and Lê Giang, with a screenplay written by Nhung Khin and produced by Will Vũ.
