Résistantes

Set during the German occupation of France in 1944, this war drama focuses on the resistance movement in the Vaucluse region. The story centers on Mother Madeleine, who manages an institute for deaf girls. Risking her safety against the German threat, she uses her convent to provide shelter for members of the resistance and Jewish children.

The film was directed by Renaud Bertrand, following his previous works Just The Three of Us from 2010 and The Two of Them from 2024. The screenplay was written by Camille Guichard and David Crozier, with Charline de Lépine and Alexandre Donche serving as producers. The production was handled by Tetra Media Studio, Macondo Films, and Carson Prod in France.

The cast features Line Renaud as the older Mother Madeleine, while Béatrice Facquer portrays the character during the events of 1944.
