Disco

Didier is an unemployed disco enthusiast living with his mother in the port city of Le Havre. Because he lacks the funds to provide a proper vacation for his young son, the boy's mother refuses to let them spend the holidays together. To solve this, Didier enters a dance competition organized by his friend Jackson, which offers a trip to Australia as the prize. He attempts to reunite his former dance group, the Bee Kings, and seeks help from a ballet instructor to prepare for the contest.

The film was directed by Fabien Onteniente, marking his second feature following Grève party. He also co-wrote the screenplay alongside Philippe Guillard and Franck Dubosc. The cast is led by Franck Dubosc, Emmanuelle Béart, and Gérard Depardieu, with Samuel Le Bihan, Abbes Zahmani, and Annie Cordy in supporting roles.
