Arthur Seligman wakes from a coma following a severe car accident near Cherbourg with significant memory loss. During his unconscious state, he spoke incoherently, and a nurse named Isabelle recorded these ramblings in a notebook. Upon receiving these notes, Arthur attempts to use the fragmented words as a guide to reconstruct his identity and understand why he was on that road. As he investigates his own past, he confronts unresolved traumas and finds himself facing an accusation of murder.
