Awarapan 2 follows Shivam, a man burdened by grief and loss who returns to a life of crime. The film is a sequel to the 2007 movie Awarapan. Directed by Nitin Kakkar, it is the fourth film in his career following Filmistaan, Jawaani Jaaneman, and Ram Singh Charlie. The screenplay was written by Balal Siddiqi and produced by Vishesh Bhatt through Vishesh Films. The cast features Emraan Hashmi in the lead role of Shivam Pandit, alongside Shabana Azmi, Salil Acharya, Disha Patani, Suvinder Vicky, and Vijayant Kohli.
