Boy A

Boy A follows Jack Burridge, a young man released from custody after serving a long sentence for a killing committed when he was a child. At twenty-four, he has no family, home or friends to return to, and his only support is Terry, a social worker who helps him start over under a new identity, find work as a delivery driver and build a quiet life that includes a relationship with a co-worker, Michelle. That fragile normalcy is disrupted when he rescues a distressed child and becomes a local figure, drawing press attention that threatens to expose the past he has been trying to leave behind.
