Don't Call Me Mama

Eva is a well-known teacher married to a local mayor. Despite his betrayal of her trust, she intends to assist with his upcoming election campaign. While volunteering at a refugee center, she forms a connection with Amir, an eighteen-year-old refugee with a talent for poetry. As their relationship deepens, Eva finds herself losing control of the situation.

This Norwegian drama and romance was directed by Nina Knag, who also co-wrote the screenplay with Kathrine Valen Zeiner.
