18 Year Old Virgin

Katie Powers is a high school senior who has nearly reached graduation without ever having had sex, a fact that bothers her more and more as her friends pair off around her. She has her eye on Ryan Lambert, a popular classmate, but he has made clear he is not interested in sleeping with a virgin. That leaves Katie scrambling to find someone else before the end of the school year, and her efforts keep going wrong in ways she did not plan. The comedy follows her search through the final stretch before graduation and the dance that caps it.

Tamara Olson directed the film from a screenplay by Naomi L. Selfman, with David Michael Latt producing for The Asylum. Olivia May plays Katie, and the cast includes Lauren Walsh, Todd Leigh, Dustin Harnish, Karmen Morales and Dan Sykes among thirty-four credited performers. The film runs 86 minutes.

Released in January 2009, the film was made by a studio known for low-budget genre releases. Its reception has been weak: on IMDb it holds a rating of 2.9 from roughly 9,600 votes, and on TMDB it sits at 3.8 from about 162 votes. Both figures point to a comedy that found little favor with viewers.
