Mayabi

Mayabi is a romance film from Nepal that focuses on the relationship between Joy, a kind and cheerful individual, and Arya, a physician guided by traditional beliefs. As the two grow closer, they encounter various difficulties that challenge their affection for one another. The story examines if they can navigate these hurdles and express their feelings before their opportunity disappears.

The movie was written and directed by Diwakar Bhattrai, following his 2017 project Aishwarya and preceding Narasimha Avatar, both released in 2025. It was produced by Chandra Pant, Dhurba Prasad Neupane, and Raj Katuwal through the production company Creative Cine Arts. With a runtime of 141 minutes, the film explores themes of love and tradition.
