Busted Water Pipes

Busted Water Pipes is a Chinese crime comedy about a police officer who has managed to keep crime at zero in his area. Fearing that his success will lead to his termination, he attempts to create a fake high-profile case to justify his employment. He is unaware that actual thieves are attempting to rob a treasure-filled tomb located directly underneath his own police station.

The film was directed by Zhou Difei, who also co-wrote the screenplay alongside Jiao Yufeng and Chong Zheng. The production was handled by Tao Piao Piao and the Chengdu Film Group. The movie features a cast led by Eddie Peng in the role of Yu Dahai, appearing alongside Allen, Zhou You, Yan Peilun, Haoyu Yang, and Jiang Xueming. A total of 20 cast members are credited in the production.
