Eva Sagarrondo, a psychologist who writes self-help books about women and romance, decides her next bestseller will test her boldest claim: that love fades after the first thirty days, so the only lasting arrangement is to part after a month. At a magazine photo shoot she meets Adam, an Italian photographer, and casts him as the subject of her experiment in a deliberately intense month-long relationship. Neither realizes the other is working from an agenda of their own.
Released in 2013, the Mexican comedy-romance runs 92 minutes and was directed by Erika Grediaga, who also wrote the screenplay. It stands as her first feature, followed by Morgu in 2017. Irán Castillo and Lorenzo Balducci lead the cast as Eva and Adam, with Consuelo Duval, Karla Souza, Alberto Agnesi and Alejandra Gollas in supporting roles. Álvaro González Kuhn, Sandro Halphen and Jose Antonio Hernandez produced.
The film's reception has been modest. On IMDb it holds a rating of 5.6 out of 10 from 148 votes, while on TMDB it sits at 4.8 out of 10 from a much smaller pool of 11 votes, suggesting a limited viewership beyond its initial release.
