Fatso

Rino is an overweight and socially anxious man who lives with his father and spends most of his time in isolation. His routine changes when his father rents a room in their home to Malin, a bold and sexually liberated young woman. Faced with someone who represents everything he lacks, Rino attempts to leave his comfort zone and transform his life to attract her. However, his efforts to overcome his fears and integrate into her world lead to difficult and tragic results.

This Norwegian comedy-drama was directed by Arild Fröhlich, who also co-wrote the screenplay with Lars Gudmestad. The film stars Nils Jørgen Kaalstad as Rino and Josefin Ljungman as Malin, with Kyrre Hellum playing Rino's friend Fillip. The production was handled by Paradox Produksjon.
