Following the death of her husband, Sonia moves from a large family house into a small, unfamiliar apartment. While struggling with grief and a rigid daily routine, she encounters Aimé, a worker from Haiti at a nearby construction site. The two form a swift and tender bond that awakens deep desires within Sonia, though their romantic relationship faces significant external pressure.

This Dominican Republic production was directed by Andrés Farías Cintrón, who also co-wrote the screenplay alongside Rey Andújar and Julia Scrive-Loyer. It is the second film directed by Cintrón, following his 2021 work Candela. The movie was produced by Rafael Elias Munoz through Lantica Media and Aurora Dominicana. The main cast features Mercedes Morales as Sonia and Jimmy Jean-Louis as Aimé, with supporting roles played by Sarah Jorge León, Cyndie Lundy, Adriana Zayas, and Pachy Méndez.
