Itsuki and Fuyu live in Ito City with their middle school daughter, Tsuki. Seven years after the events of a previous installment, the couple has transitioned from lovers to a family unit. The demands of work and parenting have created an emotional distance between them, though they maintain a peaceful facade. This tension is noticed by Tsuki, who eventually meets a taxi driver named Kozue after facing some trouble. This encounter serves as a catalyst for Itsuki and Fuyu to confront their feelings and the state of their relationship.
