Short description
Waltz for Monica is a biographical drama about the life of Swedish singer and actress Monica Zetterlund. The film follows her transition from a small-town telephone operator to a recognized figure in the jazz scenes of Stockholm and New York. While she achieves professional success and works with prominent jazz musicians, her pursuit of fame leads to personal struggles, including loneliness and the sacrifice of her romantic life and role as a mother.
