Antoine is a restaurant employee in Paris who saves a stranger named Louis from committing suicide. Feeling a sense of responsibility for the man's wellbeing, Antoine attempts to improve Louis's life by providing him with a home and a job. Louis remains consumed by his obsession with a woman named Blanche, who is the cause of his despair. Antoine secretly decides to locate her to help Louis, though his efforts lead to unexpected complications.
This romantic comedy was directed by Pierre Salvadori, who also co-wrote the screenplay with David Léotard and Benoît Graffin. It is the first of four films directed by Salvadori listed in the records, preceding Priceless, The Trouble with You, and La Vénus électrique. The movie stars Daniel Auteuil as Antoine Letoux and José Garcia as Louis, with Sandrine Kiberlain playing Blanche Grimaldi and Marilyne Canto appearing as Christine.
