Short description
Frank is a 2014 comedy-drama from the United Kingdom and Ireland, directed by Lenny Abrahamson from a screenplay by Jon Ronson and Peter Straughan. Domhnall Gleeson plays Jon, an aspiring musician who joins an experimental pop group called Soronprfbs as its keyboardist. The band is led by Frank, played by Michael Fassbender, who keeps his face hidden behind a large papier-mâché mask. Maggie Gyllenhaal, Scoot McNairy, François Civil and Carla Azar appear as other members. Jon is drawn into the group's strange working methods as they travel to record an album, and he films their activities on video while trying to understand the man behind the mask.
