Montana Moore is a flight attendant who has watched her friends and family marry while she remains single. When her younger sister announces her engagement, Montana sets herself a deadline: she has thirty days to find a husband before she becomes the oldest unmarried woman in her family. With help from her two closest friends, who also work as flight attendants, she uses her job to cross the country and reconnect with former boyfriends, hoping one of them will turn out to be the right man.
The film was written and directed by David E. Talbert, his second feature following First Sunday and preceding Almost Christmas, El Camino Christmas and Jingle Jangle: A Christmas Journey. Paula Patton leads the cast as Montana, with Derek Luke, Jill Scott, Adam Brody, Jenifer Lewis and Taye Diggs among the credited performers.
Released in September 2013, the romantic comedy runs 96 minutes and was made for about 9 million dollars, earning roughly 23 million worldwide. Audiences rate it modestly, with a 5.1 average on IMDb from around 10,000 votes and 5.3 on TMDB from a much smaller pool of 221. A critics' rating of 4 out of 10 from 82 reviews places it below even the audience scores.
