Acolytes

Three teenagers in a quiet residential neighborhood discover a dead body in the woods after observing a mysterious man. Rather than reporting the crime, the group decides to blackmail the man, who is a serial killer. They attempt to use this leverage to force him to help them eliminate a violent bully who has spent years tormenting them.

This Australian crime thriller was directed by Jon Hewitt, who also co-wrote the screenplay alongside Shane Krause and Shayne Armstrong. It is the first of three films listed in Hewitt's directing career, followed by X and Turkey Shoot. The movie features a cast including Joel Edgerton, Michael Dorman, Sebastian Gregory, Hanna Mangan Lawrence, Joshua Payne, and Belinda McClory. Produced by Stewart and Wall Entertainment, the film has a runtime of 91 minutes.
