12 Rounds 2: Reloaded

Nick Malloy is an emergency medical technician who becomes the target of a vigilante with a connection to his past. After a call at a crash scene, Nick is drawn into a game of twelve rounds, with his wife's life at stake. The man behind it demands that Nick complete a series of tasks and warns him against involving the police, forcing him to work out why he was chosen before time runs out.

The film is a direct-to-video action thriller released in 2013 and a follow-up to 12 Rounds, the 2009 film starring John Cena. Roel Reiné directed it from a screenplay by David Benullo, with Marc Bienstock producing for WWE Studios and 20th Century Fox Home Entertainment. It was made for about 4 million dollars and runs 95 minutes. Randy Orton, a professional wrestler, plays Nick Malloy, and Brian Markinson plays Heller, the man behind the game. Cindy Busby appears as Sarah Malloy, with Sean Rogerson, Tom Stevens and Colin Lawrence among a credited cast of twenty.

The film belongs to the middle stretch of Reiné's directing career: it is the ninth of twenty-one features he has directed in chronological order, arriving between Death Race: Inferno and Dead in Tombstone, both also released in 2013. Its ratings are modest and closely matched, at 5.3 out of 10 on IMDb from roughly 6,200 votes and 5.6 out of 10 on TMDB from just over 300 votes.
