The Longest Week

Conrad Valmont has spent his life in his parents' upscale Manhattan hotel, supported by their wealth and accountable to no one. When his parents divorce, he loses both his home and his trust fund, leaving him with only a small sum of cash and nowhere to stay. He moves in with his friend Dylan and soon falls for Beatrice, a model he becomes convinced he wants to spend his life with. The complication is that Beatrice is already involved with Dylan, forcing Conrad to weigh his feelings against his friendship while he tries to adjust to life without money.

The comedy-drama was directed and written by Peter Glanz, his first feature, followed by Savage House in 2026. Jason Bateman leads as Conrad, with Olivia Wilde as Beatrice and Billy Crudup as Dylan; Jenny Slate, Tony Roberts and Barry Primus appear in supporting roles. It was produced by Neda Armian and Uday Chopra, and made with Indian and American backing.

Released in 2014 and running 86 minutes, the film drew modest audience scores, sitting at 5.4 on IMDb and 5.1 on TMDB, while a critics' rating of 3.7 from 18 reviews suggests reviewers responded less favorably than general viewers did.
