Carlos is a well-respected tailor in Granada, Spain, known as the most prestigious in his trade. His life is quiet and narrow, divided between his work and his love of food, though his tastes are far from ordinary. His orderly existence is disrupted by the arrival of a woman named Nina, and the tension between his careful routine and his secret appetite drives the conflict.
Manuel Martín Cuenca directed and co-wrote the film with Alejandro Hernández. It is his third feature, following Madrid 11-M: todos íbamos en ese tren in 2005 and Últimos testigos in 2009, and it came before The Motive in 2017 and Andrea's Love in 2023. Antonio de la Torre plays Carlos, with Olimpia Melinte as Nina and supporting turns from María Alfonsa Rosso, Manolo Solo, Delphine Tempels and Gregory Brossard. The production was a European co-production involving Spain, Russia, Romania and France, with Sergei Selyanov, Fernando Bovaira and Simón de Santiago producing.
The film runs 117 minutes and blends drama with thriller elements. On TMDB it holds a rating of 5.8 out of 10 from 119 votes, a modest showing that suggests a limited but engaged audience.
