Bounty Killer

Two decades after corporations seized control of the world's governments, their pursuit of profit triggered the Corporate Wars, a global conflict that destroyed society as it was known. From the ruins emerged the Council of the Nine Roses, a new authority in a dark age. To answer the corporations' destruction, the Council puts out death warrants on white-collar criminals, and the bounty killers who carry them out range from crude amateurs to polished professionals. A bounty hunter named Drifter crosses the wasteland with his young rival, Mary Death, and the two go after the men responsible for bringing on the apocalypse.

Bounty Killer was released in 2013 and runs 93 minutes. It is an American action and science fiction film directed by Henry Saine, who wrote the screenplay with Jason Dodson and Colin Ebeling; Saine and Ebeling also produced alongside Jason Netter. The cast is led by Christian Pitre as Mary Death and Matthew Marsden as Drifter, with Kristanna Loken, Barak Hardley, Abraham Benrubi and Eve in supporting roles. The production credits list 33 cast members and 99 crew.

The film drew 27 critics' reviews averaging 5.7 out of 10, placing it just above the audience score on TMDB, where 229 votes give it 5.6 out of 10. Both figures point to a modest reception for the film.
