Short description
About Last Night follows two couples whose relationships begin as casual encounters and develop into something more serious. Bernie, who has long preferred one-night stands, starts a relationship with Joan, and his best friend Danny becomes involved with Debbie, Joan's roommate. With both pairs navigating the shift from bar to bedroom to everyday life, the four friends find their new romances tested in the real world. The film is a modern retelling of David Mamet's play Sexual Perversity in Chicago, the same source behind the 1986 movie of the same name.
Steve Pink directed the film, which sits between Hot Tub Time Machine and its 2015 sequel in his filmography. Leslye Headland and Tim Kazurinsky wrote the screenplay, and Will Packer and Will Gluck produced. Kevin Hart, Michael Ealy, Regina Hall and Joy Bryant play the two couples, with Christopher McDonald and Adam Rodríguez in supporting roles. The credited cast numbers 33, with 122 crew members.
