Old Dogs

Charlie and Dan have been friends and business partners for three decades, running a public relations firm in Manhattan. A major contract with a Japanese company is close to being signed when Dan learns he fathered twins during a brief marriage years earlier. With the children's mother about to serve two weeks in jail over a political protest, Dan agrees to look after the seven-year-olds, and Charlie pitches in to help.

Dan and Charlie bring the twins to a summer camp, where the camp's strict director Barry misreads the two men as a couple. John Travolta plays Charlie and Robin Williams plays Dan, with Kelly Preston as Vicki, Lori Loughlin as Amanda, and Conner Rayburn and Ella Bleu Travolta as the twins. David Diamond and David Weissman wrote the screenplay, and Walt Becker directed, following Wild Hogs and preceding Alvin and the Chipmunks: The Road Chip in his filmography.

The comedy was released in 2009 and runs 88 minutes. Made for 35 million dollars, it took in about 97 million worldwide. On IMDb it holds 6.4/10 from a small number of votes, while on TMDB it has 5.6/10 from a larger sample.
