Short description
A young woman studying the habits of webcam chat users from the apparent safety of her apartment witnesses a brutal murder online and is quickly immersed in a nightmare in which she and her loved ones are targeted for the same grisly fate as the first victim.
What's left behind the scenes
- Most of the plot unfolds on computer monitors, cell phone screens, and cameras.
- It is impossible to wipe a hard drive in a matter of seconds. Several hours are required to ensure the data cannot be recovered afterward.
- The film doesn't have one ending. In the original finale, Elizabeth dies in a car accident when a truck crashes into her car and she is ejected. Later, a scene of her death by torture before a webcam was filmed. A girl observes all of this, thus giving the audience to understand that the game is about to start again.
