A Prayer for Rain

A Prayer for Rain is a historical drama about the 1984 industrial disaster in Bhopal, India. The story follows Dilip, a local man who takes a job at a pesticide plant to escape poverty, and a journalist named Eva who arrives in the city and learns about the plant's negative impact on public health. The narrative focuses on the corporate negligence, lack of safety measures, and technical failures at the Union Carbide facility that led to a massive toxic gas leak, resulting in thousands of deaths and lasting environmental consequences.
