The Bounty Hunter

Milo Boyd is a former police officer now working as a bounty hunter, and he is struggling financially when he receives an assignment that seems too good to pass up: bring in his ex-wife, journalist Nicole Hurley, who skipped a court appearance. He expects an easy payday and a chance to settle old scores, but Nicole has no intention of being delivered quietly. She is chasing a story tied to a murder, and she slips away from him to follow leads.

The two former spouses try to outmaneuver each other as Milo attempts to do his job and Nicole pursues her investigation. Their personal history complicates every step, and the pursuit eventually puts both of them in danger from people connected to the case she is working on. The film is an action comedy with a romantic thread, directed by Andy Tennant, whose earlier films include Hitch and Fool's Gold, and written by Sarah Thorp. Jennifer Aniston plays Nicole and Gerard Butler plays Milo, with supporting performances from Jason Sudeikis, Jeff Garlin, Ritchie Coster and Cathy Moriarty.
