Horst Schlämmer - Isch kandidiere!

Horst Schlämmer is a man who leaves his position as deputy editor-in-chief at a local newspaper to pursue a higher ambition. He establishes his own political party with the goal of becoming the German chancellor. Accompanied by his intern, he uses various promotional methods to bring national attention to his campaign and its unconventional promises.

Directed by Angelo Colagrossi, who also served as a producer and co-writer, this German comedy features Hape Kerkeling in the lead role.
