Short description
In the quiet town of Lake Tahoe, police officer Meredith Hernandez faces a crisis when local residents begin falling victim to deadly attacks. The violence coincides with the parole of Clint Gray, a dealer of exotic animals. As the death toll rises among swimmers and visitors, Meredith and a biologist named Peter realize they are not hunting a single predator, but an entire family of sharks. The group must work together to eliminate the threat and save the community.
This 2015 American thriller was directed by Jerry Dugan. The film stars Dolph Lundgren as Clint Gray and Sara Malakul Lane as Meredith Hernandez, with supporting roles played by Lily Brooks O'Briant, Michael Aaron Milligan, Lance E. Nichols, and James Chalke. The project was produced by Dolph Lundgren, Jeff Spilman, and Danny Roth, with a screenplay written by David Anderson and Gabe Burnstein.

What's left behind the scenes
- It was originally intended that the film would be titled "The Lake," and its plot would unfold at Lake Tahoe on the border of California and Nevada. The title and many details of the script were changed when it was decided to film the movie in the state of Mississippi.
- The fragment showing a woman's leg with a shark fin tattoo was not in the script. During filming at Lake Tahoe, one of the background actresses showed the filmmakers such a tattoo on her leg; they filmed the tattoo and subsequently inserted the shot into the movie.
- Peter tells Meredith (played by Michael Aaron Milligan and Sarah Malakul Lane, respectively) that animals possess an innate instinct to protect their own offspring. Meanwhile, many animal species—specifically bluntnose guitarfish—leave their young to fend for themselves. In this way, nature limits the number of predators on its own.
- When Sarah Malakul Lane's character describes Clint, she says: "Race: white, gender: male, hair: blue, eyes: light." In reality, Clint, played by Dolph Lundgren, has light hair and blue eyes.
