Short description
A former CIA agent is kidnapped by terrorists for their own purposes. When his son, a government analyst, discovers that there are no official plans to rescue his father, he organizes an unauthorized mission to save him. To succeed, he must use his training to face lethal fighters and international criminals while defying the orders of his superiors.
This action thriller was directed by Steven C. Miller and is the second film in his career, following Silent Night. The movie stars Bruce Willis as the captured father, Kellan Lutz as the son, and Gina Carano. The production was a joint effort between companies from the United Kingdom and the United States, involving a credited cast of 62 people and a crew of 129.
The film received generally poor reception from both viewers and critics. On IMDb, it holds a rating of 4.1/10 based on 12,000 votes, while on TMDB it has a score of 4.5/10 from 416 votes. Film critics gave the movie an even lower rating of 3.5/10 based on 18 reviews.

- The film is set in Newark, New Jersey, and was filmed in Alabama, but the very first shots of the film show the business district and Mount Washington neighborhood of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. (Three Rivers Stadium, shown at the beginning on the left side of the screen, ceased to exist on February 11, 2001.)
