A mutated, three-headed great white shark terrorizes the passengers and crew of a cruise ship. After escaping from a research facility, the creature attacks the vessel and begins eating its way from one end to the other, forcing those on board to fight back with whatever they can find. The survivors of the research station eventually reach the ship and try to help the passengers escape, only to discover that three heads are far harder to kill than one. Danny Trejo appears as Max Burns, a hunter who takes on the creature, alongside Jena Sims, Jaason Simmons, Rob Szatkowski, Dawn Hamil and Brad Mills.
The film is a 2015 American action, horror and science fiction production from The Asylum and Syfy, running 90 minutes. Christopher Ray directed it from a screenplay by Jacob Cooney and Bill Hanstock, with David Michael Latt producing. It followed Ray's earlier creature features, 2-Headed Shark Attack and Megaconda, and continued the shark series that began with the two-headed installment.
Audience response has been weak: on IMDb the film holds a rating of 2.7 out of 10 from roughly 3,800 votes, while on TMDB it sits at 4.4 out of 10 from around 211 votes. Both figures point to a film with a small but consistent viewer base rather than broad approval.
