Jesse Stone: Lost in Paradise

Jesse Stone, chief of police in the quiet coastal town of Paradise, Massachusetts, is asked to serve as a consultant on a murder case in Boston. The local authorities believe the killing is the work of the Boston Strangler, who is already behind bars, but Stone suspects a different culprit, one closer to the investigation than anyone realizes. His inquiry draws him into a complicated and dangerous situation. The character comes from novels by Robert B. Parker, and this is the ninth television film in which Tom Selleck plays him. Selleck leads a cast that includes William Devane, Gloria Reuben, Luke Perry and Leslie Hope. Robert Harmon directed, as he had several earlier entries in the series, including Stone Cold, Death in Paradise, Night Passage, Sea Change and Benefit of the Doubt.

The film runs 87 minutes and was made for television by Sony Pictures Television Studios. It has a rating of 7.3 from around 4,400 votes on IMDb, while on TMDB it holds 6.6 from a much smaller group of about 110 users.
