Mobile Suit Gundam 00 The Movie: -A Wakening of the Trailblazer-

The film is set in the year 2314, two years after the defeat of the Innovators and the A-Laws. The A-Laws have been disbanded and their infrastructure folded into the Earth Sphere Federation Army, while exposure to GN Particles has caused many people to awaken as True Innovators. Celestial Being has withdrawn into the shadows to rebuild and watch over a fragile peace. That calm is broken when an abandoned probe, sent toward Jupiter 130 years earlier, returns to Earth carrying a threat to all of humanity. As Celestial Being undertakes a mission to confront it, Gundam Meister Setsuna F. Seiei moves toward understanding the purpose of his own evolution as an Innovator, and Aeolia Schenberg's plan enters its closing stage.

Seiji Mizushima directed, working from a screenplay by Yosuke Kuroda. The film followed Mizushima's earlier work on the two Mobile Suit Gundam 00 Special Edition compilations and came before Expelled from Paradise; his credits also include Fullmetal Alchemist the Movie: Conqueror of Shamballa and earlier Evangelion material. Mamoru Miyano voices Setsuna, with Shin-ichiro Miki, Hiroyuki Yoshino and Hiroshi Kamiya among the returning cast, joined by Ryo Katsuji and Yoko Honna. It runs 123 minutes and was released in September 2010, produced in Japan by Bandai Visual, MBS, Sotsu and SUNRISE. On TMDB it holds a rating of 6.4 out of 10 from 38 votes, indicating a modest and limited audience response.
