The Devil's Mistress

Set in Salzburg in 2000, this historical drama follows an elderly Czech actress as she recalls her life to a journalist. She describes her rise to fame in Berlin during the 1930s and the intense, damaging romantic involvement she had with Joseph Goebbels, the Minister of Propaganda for the Third Reich.

The film was directed by Filip Renč and written by Ivan Hubač. It features Tatiana Pauhofová and Zdenka Procházková in the dual role of Lída Baarová at different stages of her life, while Karl Markovics portrays Joseph Goebbels. Other cast members include Gedeon Burkhard, Simona Stašová, and Martin Huba. Produced by Nogup and Arina, the movie is a joint production from Slovakia and the Czech Republic.
