You Again

Marni returns to her hometown for her brother Will's wedding, only to discover that the bride is Joanna, the girl who made her high school years miserable. Convinced that her old tormentor has not really changed, Marni sets out to stop the marriage, with her mother Gail on her side. The stakes rise when Gail realizes that Joanna's wealthy aunt Ramona was her own rival back in school, turning one grudge into two generations of payback as the wedding approaches.

Andy Fickman directed the comedy from a screenplay by Moe Jelline, with Kristen Bell as Marni, Jamie Lee Curtis as Gail, Sigourney Weaver as Ramona, Odette Annable as Joanna, Victor Garber as Mark and Betty White as Grandma Bunny. The film was released on September 23, 2010, and followed several earlier Fickman comedies, including She's the Man, The Game Plan and Race to Witch Mountain, and preceded titles such as Parental Guidance and Paul Blart: Mall Cop 2. It runs 105 minutes.

Made for a reported 20 million dollars, the film took in about 32 million dollars worldwide, a modest return. On IMDb it holds 5.8 out of 10 from roughly 57,000 votes, while on TMDB it sits at 6.3 from about 1,300 votes. Critics were harsher, giving it 4 out of 10 across 92 reviews, well below what audiences recorded on both sites.
