Little Fockers

Little Fockers is a 2010 American comedy continuing the story of Greg Focker, a male nurse who has spent years trying to win the approval of his intimidating father-in-law, Jack Byrnes, a retired CIA operative. Now married to Pam and the father of young twins, Greg takes on extra work for a pharmaceutical company when money gets tight, which revives Jack's suspicions about his son-in-law. When both families gather for the twins' birthday, Greg has to convince Jack that he is capable of leading the household, while an old suitor of Pam's and a flirtatious drug representative complicate matters further.

Paul Weitz directed the film, the seventh of thirteen features in his directing career, following Cirque du Freak: The Vampire's Assistant and preceding Being Flynn. Larry Stuckey and John Hamburg wrote the screenplay, and Robert De Niro produced alongside Jane Rosenthal and Jay Roach. The cast brings back Ben Stiller, De Niro, Owen Wilson, Dustin Hoffman, Barbra Streisand and Blythe Danner, with 72 credited performers and 132 credited crew members.

Made for about 100 million dollars, the film took roughly 311 million dollars worldwide, a strong return relative to its cost. Audience response was mixed: it holds a 5.5 rating on IMDb from around 126,000 votes and a 5.7 on TMDB from roughly 3,500 votes, while a critics' rating of 3.6 from 147 reviews sits noticeably lower than those viewer scores.
