Defenseless

A Los Angeles attorney becomes entangled in a complex legal and personal crisis when her lover and client is murdered. After discovering that the victim was married to her former college friend, the lawyer takes on the defense of the wife, who has been accused of the killing. As the case progresses, the attorney must navigate her own secrets regarding the victim while dealing with police investigations into the man's involvement in the production of illegal films.
