Set in rural Ireland in 1920, this horror mystery follows Anglo-Irish twins Rachel and Edward who live in their decaying family estate. The siblings are bound by a curse and the demands of a sinister presence that controls the property every night. To survive, they must follow three strict rules: stay in bed by midnight, keep strangers out of the house, and avoid attempting to escape, as doing so endangers the other twin. The arrival of Sean, a war veteran from a nearby village, disrupts this fragile order when Rachel develops feelings for him and begins to defy the established rules, leading to a lethal conflict with her brother and the haunting entity.
Directed by Brian O'Malley, this was his second feature film following Let Us Prey. The movie was written by David Turpin and features a cast including Charlotte Vega, Bill Milner, Eugene Simon, and David Bradley. Produced in Ireland, the film has a runtime of 93 minutes. Audience reception was mixed, with a 5.1 rating on IMDb from 10,000 votes and a 5 rating on TMDB from 519 votes. Film critics gave the movie a slightly higher rating of 5.8 based on 43 reviews.
