Short description
A disgraced reporter investigates an abandoned luxury hotel where five people mysteriously disappeared sixty years earlier.
What's left behind the scenes
- According to the vision of the stylists and costume designers, the look of Sally Shine, played by Lindsay Ridgway, is reminiscent of Shirley Temple (1928-2014), famous for her child roles in the late 1930s.
- When Kirsten Dunst, playing Anna, is waiting outside the hotel, the entrance door is shown as open. Then the character goes inside. A few shots later, the door in the background is open. But when Dunst's character runs and encounters a ghost, the door is suddenly closed, and literally a second later, it is open again.
