Eden of the East Movie II: Paradise Lost

Saki Morimi and Akira Takizawa return to Japan after narrowly surviving an attack in the United States, helped by another participant in the Seleção game. Back home, the authorities close in on the Eden software company, and Saki's friends and colleagues come under suspicion of terrorism, making it harder for the young programmers and hackers to keep supporting Akira. As the deadly contest run by the mysterious Mr. Outside nears its conclusion, the secrets surrounding Akira's past begin to surface, and he and the remaining players make their final moves.

The film is the second and closing part of the Eden of the East theatrical duo, following The King of Eden, which came out in 2009. Kenji Kamiyama directed and wrote the screenplay, as he did on the earlier entry, at a point when he had already made the Ghost in the Shell: Stand Alone Complex films and had yet to move on to later projects such as 009 Re:Cyborg and Napping Princess. Production I.G handled the animation. The voice cast includes Ryohei Kimura as Akira Takizawa, Saori Hayami as Saki Morimi, Takuya Eguchi, Motoyuki Kawahara, Ayaka Saito and Kimiko Saito, with 28 credited cast members and 106 credited crew.

On TMDB the film holds a rating of 6.7 out of 10 from 68 votes. It runs 93 minutes and was released in Japan in March 2010.
