The Kill Team

The Kill Team follows Andrew Briggman, a young American soldier deployed to Afghanistan in 2009. Assigned to a platoon led by Sergeant Deeks, Briggman initially tries to prove himself and emulate his commander's aggressive style. After witnessing his fellow soldiers kill unarmed civilians, he faces a choice between reporting what he has seen and staying silent, while the increasingly violent unit grows suspicious that one of its own has turned against it. The story is a fictionalized account of real events.

The film is directed and written by Dan Krauss, marking his narrative feature debut after earlier documentary work; it is the first of three features he has directed, followed by The Anthrax Attacks: In the Shadow of 9/11 in 2022 and Bodyguard of Lies in 2025. Nat Wolff plays Briggman and Alexander Skarsgård plays Sergeant Deeks, with supporting turns from Adam Long, Jonathan Whitesell, Brian Marc and Osy Ikhile. Produced by Wyck Godfrey, Marty Bowen and Wolff, the film runs 87 minutes and was made as a co-production between Spain and the United States.
