Your Light: Kase-san and Morning Glories

This animated romance focuses on the developing relationship between two high school students with very different personalities. Yamada is a shy, clumsy girl who manages the school's greenery. She harbors a secret crush on Kase, a popular and athletic star of the track team. Although the two have not spoken before, they begin to grow closer through Yamada's work with the morning glories she planted at school. As they spend more time together, they learn from one another and build a romantic connection.

The film was directed by Takuya Sato, following his work on Armitage III: Poly Matrix and Steins;Gate: The Movie - Load Region of Déjà Vu. It sits in the middle of his career, preceding Kase-san and Morning Glories, Fragtime, and Happy-Go-Lucky Days. Produced by Yusuke Terada, the short film was a collaboration between production companies Pony Canyon and ZEXCS.
