Toy Gun

Toy Gun is a crime comedy about Ruggero, a timid young man who robs a bank on impulse to show his former wife that he is brave. While the police conduct an investigation, they completely overlook the unassuming protagonist. Due to various coincidences, Ruggero avoids capture while dishonest bank employees are blamed for what appears to be an internal conspiracy.

The film was directed by Marco Serafini, who also co-wrote the screenplay with Vince Villani. It is a co-production between Germany, Belgium, and Luxembourg, involving production companies Mollywood, Calach Films, and Gardner & Domm. The cast features Luke Allen-Gale in the lead role of Ruggero Levati, alongside Hana Sofia Lopes as Giulia Levati, Federico Castelluccio, John Hannah, Claire Johnston, and Anthony LaPaglia.

With a runtime of 90 minutes, the movie received a mixed response from viewers. On IMDb, it holds a rating of 5.4/10 based on 389 votes, while it has a lower score of 4.2/10 on TMDB from 29 votes.
