Set during the Second World War, this drama follows Jo, a young shepherd living in a German-occupied village in the Pyrenees. Along with the support of a widow named Horcada, Jo works to secretly transport Jewish children from southern France across the border into Spain. His perspective on the conflict shifts after meeting a father who refuses to cross the border until he is reunited with his daughter, Anya. Together with his grandfather, Jo risks his life to assist refugees while avoiding the inspection of German soldiers.
The film was directed by Ben Cookson, who also co-wrote the screenplay with Toby Torlesse.
