Manborg

In a future Earth overrun by the demon armies of Count Draculon, hope rests on a soldier who died in an earlier war against Hell and was rebuilt as a cyborg. Now known as Manborg, he joins a small group of survivors and rebels in a fight to push back Draculon's forces and reclaim the planet. The film mixes horror and science fiction in a post-apocalyptic setting, with a running time of just seventy minutes.

Steven Kostanski directed and produced, and wrote the screenplay with Jeremy Gillespie. Manborg was the first film Kostanski directed, followed by Father's Day, The Void, Leprechaun Returns, PG: Psycho Goreman, V/H/S/94, Frankie Freako and Deathstalker. Matthew Kennedy plays Manborg, with Adam Brooks appearing in multiple roles, including Draculon, and Meredith Sweeney, Conor Sweeney, Ludwig Lee and Jeremy Gillespie among the cast of thirty-two credited performers. The Canadian production was made by Astron-6 Video International.
