Jun was trained from childhood as a government operative after losing his parents, and he became one of the country's best agents. Tired of the work, he fakes his own death and starts over under a new name. Years later he has a family and has finally gone after the thing he always wanted to do: drawing webtoons. The comics go nowhere, and the few readers he has are harsh about them. One night, drunk, he draws a story pulled from his own past as a spy, and his wife puts it online without telling him. It becomes a hit, and the attention it draws reaches people from the life he tried to leave behind.
Choi Won-sub directed and co-wrote the film with Shin Jung-ryoul, working from a screenplay shaped around Kwon Sang-woo as Jun. Jung Jun-ho, Hwang Woo-seul-hye, Lee Yi-kyung, Lee Ji-won and Heo Sung-tae round out the principal cast. The film, a Korean action comedy running 110 minutes, was produced by Lotte Entertainment and Very Good Studio. It was the first feature Choi directed, followed by Hitman 2 in 2025 and Heartman: Rock and Love in 2026.
Audience response has been moderate and divided. On IMDb it holds a rating of 6.4 from roughly 2,600 votes, while on TMDB it sits at 7 out of 10 from a much smaller group of 89 voters. The gap between the two suggests a warmer reception among the smaller, more dedicated audience than among the wider viewer base.
