30 Days Max

30 Days Max is a French action comedy about Rayane, a clumsy and easily frightened young police officer who is mocked by his colleagues. When a doctor mistakenly tells him he has only thirty days left to live, he sees a final chance to prove himself at his station and to impress his colleague Stéphanie. The timid man throws caution aside and starts taking reckless risks in pursuit of a major drug trafficker.

The film was directed by Tarek Boudali, who also stars as Rayane and co-wrote the screenplay with Pierre Dudan and Grégory Boutboul. It was Boudali's second feature as director, following Marry Me, Dude in 2017 and preceding 3 Days Max in 2023 and Somnambule in 2027. The cast includes Philippe Lacheau, Julien Arruti, Vanessa Guide, José Garcia and Marie-Anne Chazel, with twenty credited cast members in all. It was released in October 2020.

Made on a budget of about 13 million USD, the film grossed roughly 11 million USD worldwide. Audience ratings are modest and closely aligned: 5.5 out of 10 on IMDb from around 2,600 votes, and 5.6 out of 10 on TMDB from about 417 votes.
